学生各位

　本学では４月９日（木）から前学期の授業が開始されますが、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止のため、とくに学生のみなさんに留意してほしいことや注意点等について、以下のとおりまとめましたので、よく読んでください。
　本学でも、みなさんが感染しないように、また，学内でクラスターが発生しないように最大限の注意を持って取組を行いますので、学生のみなさんも大人としての自覚を持って行動してください。

１. 授業実施方法の変更等

（１） 一部の授業においては、授業の実施方法を対面授業から別の方法（例えば課題研究やオンライン授業等）に変更する場合や、授業開始の時期を遅らせることがあります。変更内容については教務情報システムの授業情報やシラバス等で随時発信しますので、講義に関する最新の情報を確認してください。

（２）オンラインで実施する授業については、来校せずに自宅で学修をしてください。インターネット環境が自宅にない場合は、本学図書館やパソコン室等を利用することもできますが、利用者多数の場合は入室できないこともあるので注意してください。

２. 対面授業における注意事項

（１） 講義室入室の前の手洗い又は消毒を徹底してください。グループ学習等にて対面で会話する場合など、担当教員の指示に従ってマスクを着用するなど感染の防止に努めてください。

（２）講義室等の中では、一つずつ席を空けるなどにより、人と人との距離を保ってください。

３. その他

（１） 毎日の検温（１日２回朝・夕）などの健康観察を行い、体調不良の場合は来校せずに、各学部事務部に連絡して指示に従ってください。新型コロナウイルスに感染した若しくは感染したおそれがあるなど、来校すべきでないと本学が判断した場合については、欠席扱いとしないなどの修学上の配慮を行います。

（２）履修や学生生活等で相談がある場合は、各学部・研究科の事務部または指導教員に連絡してください。

（３）講義その他の重要な情報は、琉球大学公式ホームページ、各学部・研究科等のホームページ、本学が配布した学生用メールアドレス及び教務情報システムのお知らせ等に掲載します。最新情報を毎日確認してください。

（４）授業以外でも、いわゆる３密（密閉、密集、密接）が揃う場面を避けるよう行動してください。感染は誰にでも起こり得ることですが、そのリスクを低くするような意識と行動が重要です。また、海外のみならず、不要不急の県外への旅行については、沖縄県からも要請が出されているとおり、できるだけ自粛するようにしてください。

Guidelines on Class Instruction for AY 2020 First Semester

The University is scheduled to begin classes for the First Semester of AY 2020 on 9 April (Thursday). Given current concerns over the Covid-19 outbreak, all students are requested to understand and abide by the following guidelines.

While the University is committed to doing its utmost to ensure the health and safety of the campus population, in particular the prevention of infection clusters and community-spread, we would like for all students remain socially aware, and exercise mindfulness and civic responsibility at all times.  

1. Changes to methods of class/lecture instruction

1-1. A portion of the University’s classes will not be conducted in the usual, face-to-face format, with changes to instruction mediums (topic-based research assignments, online learning etc.). In other cases, classes may be postponed to a later date. Students must inform themselves of such changes, which will be announced through the online academic information and syllabus portals as and when they take place. 

1-2. Students are requested to remain at home and refrain from coming to the University when attending classes conducted through online learning. Students without access to the internet may utilize the University Library and on-campus computer labs, although access may be restricted to regulate the number of people using such facilities at any one time.  

２． Points to note in face-to-face classes

2-1. Students must ensure that their hands are thoroughly washed and disinfected  before entering the classroom.  Students must abide by the instructions of the class instructor and wear face masks as a means of infection prevention when engaging in conversations, e.g. during peer or group work.

2-2. When in classrooms, students must be seated at least one seat apart and exercise maximum effort in maintaining physical distance from others. 

 3 Requests for Cooperation

3-1. Students must monitor their health by taking their body temperatures twice a day (morning and evening). Students must refrain from coming to the University if they feel unwell and inform their respective faculty office of their condition immediately. Students who have tested positive for Covid-19, or have been assessed to be at risk of contracting Covid-19 will be asked to take a leave of absence from classes. In this case, the University will ensure that students will not be assessed unfairly nor bear disadvantages as a result of the above.

3-2. Students are requested to consult the respective faculty office and/or their academic advisor if they need to consult on academic matters or campus life. 

3-3. Important information regarding classes will be announced on the University’s website, as well as the respective websites of each faculty/department. Students may also access their campus email and the University’s online education services portal for timely updates. Students are encouraged to check for the latest information at least once a day.

3-4. Students are requested to limit exposure to other people by avoiding enclosed spaces, crowded venues and close contact with other people. Everyone is susceptible to Covid-19; risk of infection can be reduced with the right information and forms of action. Following official requests from the prefecture of Okinawa, students must refrain from unnecessary travel of any kind, be it domestic (within Japan) or international.
