Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan visits the University of the Ryukyus (November 5, 2021)

 Mr. Tri Purnajaya, Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan made a courtesy call on the University of the Ryukyus on November 5, 2021 and had a discussion with the President Nishida. Mr. Yusli Wardiatno, Head of Education & Culture Section and Ms. Marina Magdalena Harahap, Immigration Attache both from the Embassy and the Vice President Ushikubo and Prof. Yamasaki, dean of Graduate School of Science and Engineering, from the University also attended the discussion. The University has concluded an international partnership with seven higher education institutions in Indonesia and has been actively engaged in education and research exchange with Indonesia. During the discussion, they exchanged opinions on promoting research exchanges that should take advantage of the environmental characteristics of island countries and regions, as well as student exchanges. At the end of the discussion, they have agreed that they will work together even more to build a cooperative relationship.
