Regarding the University of the Ryukyus Entrance Ceremony for
the Academic Year 2026
The University of the Ryukyus Entrance Ceremony for AY 2026 will be held as follows.
■The University of the Ryukyus Entrance Ceremony for AY 2026
１. Date and Time: April 2, 2026 (Thu), 11:00 ～ 12:00
２. Venue: OKINAWA SUNTORY AREANA (1-16-1 Yamauchi, Okinawa City)
３. Attendees: New students and members of family
４．Note: 1)The ceremony will be live-streamed.
2) Please come by public transportation or by car (parking is available at the venue). For those who do not have means of transportation to the venue,
shuttle buses (between the university and the venue) will be operated.

Ⅰ. Parking
On the day of the event, the "Koza Sports Park Multi-Story Parking Lot" next to the venue will be available for use. For further access details, please check the official website of the facility.
If you need to move to the university after the ceremony for events such as new student orientation, please park in the following locations:
Senbaru Campus: The parking lot near your faculty
West Futenma Campus: Multipurpose parking lot (If the lot is full, please use the parking lot on the gymnasium side.)

Ⅱ. Shuttle bus
If you are unable to secure transportation to the venue, a shuttle bus service will be available between the university and the ceremony venue.

From 9:00 to 10:00, Shuttle buses will depart as soon as seats are fully occupied.

The ceremony is scheduled to be live-streamed on YouTube on Friday, April 2, from 10:45.

Ⅳ.Notes
・In-person attendance at the entrance ceremony is only for family members of new students due to the limited number of seats.
・Distribution of leaflets, use of confetti, and other activities that may cause defacement or damage to property, or danger to others are strictly prohibited at the venue.
