To All Graduates and Family Members,
Because of the COVID-19 infection in Okinawa, we will hold the AY 2021 Graduation ceremony as follows.
- Date and time: Friday, March 18, 2022, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Place: Okinawa Convention Center Exhibition Hall (4-3-1 Mashiki, Ginowan City)
- Participants: Graduating students ONLY
Students participating in the ceremony are requested to register through the QR below.
Please save a screenshot of registration page or keep a confirmation email, and show the staff when entering the ceremony hall.
We recommend that participants in the ceremony to get vaccinated as it is required by Okinawa Prefecture's restrictions on events.
Please also note that depending on the future infection rate, we might change the venue, restrict the attendees to a valedictorian and representatives of the new students from each faculty, or hold a much smaller ceremony.
Shuttle Bus
Shuttle buses will be operated between the University and the Convention Center.
Since other organizations' events will be held at the Convention Center on the same day, please use the shuttle bus or public transportation.
No parking will be available.

Between 9:00-10:00 am, the buses will depart one by one when they reach its capacity.
- From Senbaru Campus:
North Cafeteria(Bus Stop #1) ---> Convention Center
The Parking lot of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science (Bus Stop #2)

- From Uehara Campus:
Near the entrance of the Faculty of Medicine (Bus Stop #3) ---> Convention Center

After the ceremony, the staff will lead the participants to the bus bound for Uehara Campus at first, and the one bound for Senbaru Campus will follows.
- For Uehara Campus:
Convention Center ---> Near the entrance of the Faculty of Medicine (Bus Stop #3)
- For Senbaru Campus:
Convention Center ---> North Cafeteria (Bus Stop #1)
Convention Center ---> The Parking lot of the Humanities and Social Science (Bus Stop #2)
Live Streaming
We will live stream the ceremony on YouTube, scheduled to begin at 10:45 am on March 18.

Students attending the ceremony who need a subtitle and their families can watch the video.
Cautions
1- Check your body temperature and physical condition on the morning of the ceremony.
Please do not participate in the ceremony if you are sick or have a fever.
2- If your body temperature is over 37.5 degrees, you cannot enter the ceremony hall neither take the shuttle bus.
3- ONLY Graduating students can participate in the ceremony.
4- From the perspective of infection control and to prevention of disturbance to neighbors, it is prohibited to enter the venue (the Convention Center site) or gather in the vicinity of the venue.
5- Please do not hold events with food and drinks before and after the ceremony.
