Request Regarding Bearing Certificate Issue Fees

*Due to the summer break , our office will be closed from August 16th to 18th.

"Since April 2017, we have collected the following fees for issuing various certificates such as Graduation Certificate and Academic Transcript from alumni.  These fees apply to graduates of both our undergraduate and post-graduate programs. We ask for your understanding."

Japanese Certificate:300 yen per copy
English Certificate:500 yen per copy

*Application is free for current course certificates for enrolled students
"(For graduate students applying for certificates from their time at the faculty of our school, we will collect fees as stated above. )"
"(For undergraduate students who have graduated from other faculties, we will collect fees regarding certificates when you graduated from our school.)"
*Please note that certificates in designated formats will also incur fees.

How to Apply

Prepare the following documents No.1 to 3  (Representatives should also prepare No.4 when applying)

  1. "Please download and fill in the ""Certificate Issuance Application"" (PDF File)."
  2. Identification (Make copies when applying through post)
    "(For licenses, if there is information on the back side, then both sides must be copied)"
    Return envelope with stamp affixed (Only for those wishing to apply by post)
    When applying as a representative, authorization letter (handwritten) and I.D. of representative."

*We do not accept applications by phone, fax, or e-mail due to personal information protection concerns. "
*Please note that if you do not receive the certificate within 1 month of issue, we cancel the certificate and will not be able to give you a refund."

Format

Confirming Your Identity

For personal information protection reasons, our school asks you to confirm your identity when we issue all certificates. We may take copies of identification, including licenses. We ask for your understanding and cooperation. 

If you cannot download the Certificate Issuance Application

Please send an application in your own format that specifies the following items.
"Type and Number of Certificates  required (Example: 1 copy of Graduation Certificate, 1 copy of Academic Transcript)"

  • Name
    "(If you have changed your name after graduating, please write your former last name. Please specify in roman letters when applying for English certificates)"
  • Date of Birth
  • Student Number (Can leave out if unknown)
  • Date you entered school (Example: Entered in April 1994)
  • Date of Graduation / Quitting / Expulsion (Example: Graduated in March 1994)
    Faculty / Department / Graduate Course / Advanced Course
  • Address / Phone Number (Please write a number you can be reached at during the day)
  • Purpose of Use / Place to be Submitted to
    "If you live in foreign country, please contact the faculty office before you apply for certification."

When visiting the school to apply

  1. Paying Fees
    When paying with cash: Please pay at Ryukyu University Co-op (Chuo Store) 2F Register.
    When paying by bank transfer: Please deposit into an account designated by the school.(Transfer fees are borne by applicant)
  2. Please bring the documents, as well as receipt (original) or transfer statement (original) to the office of the faculty you belonged to. 
  3. Upon confirmation, the faculty office will make the certificate. 
    "When receiving certificates directly at reception, you can receive them anytime from the designated day. "

 Return envelopes

"All certificates are delivered in envelopes that are invalid if opened. Please send after preparing the following envelopes and stamps, and writing the addressee's address and name. "

"*We will only send back documents that fit into an envelope. If the fees are insufficient, we can not send back your application, so please be careful. "

How to Pay Fees

There are two ways to pay the fees

  1. Pay with cash at Ryukyu University Co-op (Chuo Store) 2F
    "Please note that the Co-op is open from 8:00 to 18:30 (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays)"
    Business hours may also change during long holidays such as summer vacation.
