2012 Matriculation Ceremony for the Graduate School of Engineering and Science, International Student Special Program


On Friday, October 12, 2012, a matriculation ceremony was held on the third floor of the university assembly hall for students in the graduate school’s International Student Special Program in the Department of Engineering and Science. New students and people who are involved in the program also attended the ceremony.

During the matriculation ceremony, twelve international students in the master’s program and nine doctoral program international students were introduced.

Dr. Rishun Shinzato, the director, read a congratulatory message from the University president, and after that, Dr. Tomio Takara, dean of the Department of Engineering and Science, gave an address. After the ceremony, commemorative photographs were taken.

In this program, in order to offer equal opportunity for study and research to all international students, instruction and research are conducted solely in English.
