The Electrical and Electronics Engineering student won
the IEEJ YPC award

Mr. Kyohei Kurohane in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering and Science, University of the Ryukyus student won the IEEJ Young engineer Poster Competition (YPC) award at a domestic conference.

The YPC award aims the participation of more young man researchers, which is given only three people in the student who announced the poster, and gives the presenter a diplomas and the extra prize.

The awarded paper title is "Power Control for the wind Farm using PMSG in an Isolated Island". This paper proposes a stable power supply method by controlling the output of the wind generator PMSG and batteries in the DC power system

For the award, Mr. Kurohane said "I am very honored to win the poster prize this time. I would like to express our gratitude for the laboratory member's cooperation including Prof. Senjyu."
