The Electrical and Electronics Engineering student awarded
the ICEMS-2009 Young Engineer Poster Presentation

Mr. Abdul Motin Howlader in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering and Science, University of the Ryukyus student was awarded by the "Young Engineer Poster Presentation Award" from the 12th international conference on electrical machines and systems (ICEMS2009).

The Program Committee of ICEMS2009 awarded a prize of "Young Engineer Poster Presentation Award" to those who made an outstanding poster presentation. Participants requested to vote outstanding poster presentation. The voting results and the technical program committee’s decision reflected in the selection process.

The awarded paper title is "Wide-Speed-Range Optimal PAM control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor". This paper proposes a PAM control method that can adjust the motor DC-link voltage with respect to the motor rotational speed.

For the award, Mr. Motin said, "I am very happy for this award. I am grateful to my supervisor Dr. Urasaki and laboratory members. It will be always encouraged me to the future study."
