At the University Hospital we aim to develop international minded medical staff while providing the kind of high-quality healthcare that our patients require. We also aim to provide the designated optimal medical care with profound compassion, and to improve the community healthcare and welfare of the community. As the only specialized general hospital in Okinawa, we have demonstrated the firm commitment to provide innovative and advanced medical care.

Appointed as the community AIDS clinical Center in March 2007, as a stronghold hospital for cancer therapy in February 2008, for liver disease in November 2009, and for medical care in remote area in March 2011, the University Hospital functions as the focal point of advanced medical care in Okinawa, and is expected to contribute to community healthcare and medical treatment against infectious diseases at the Southeast Asia.
