Our Faculty of Education curriculum provides future elementary and junior high school teachers with a solid command of pedagogical theories and methods as well as practical teaching skills.
The Faculty of Education consists of two specializations: the School Teacher Training Program and the Lifelong Education Specialist Program. Most graduates of the School Teacher Training Program become elementary or junior high school teachers. Many graduates of the Lifelong Education Program go on to be employed as local government education administrators. In the current year, we would like to focus on the subject of education on isolated islands and in remote rural areas of Okinawa, and also try to improve the educational achievement of Okinawan children.
